It's official, we're on the list!

Today I hand delivered our last referral (from our neighbor friends) to Mary's office and five minutes later Mike got an email from her and called me. We are on the list for a referral. The date that our original I-600A would have expired, except that a month ago I filed for a free extension just in the nick of time. So today we are officially expecting. It's wild.

final homestudy meeting

Last week, on Sept 9, we had our final homestudy meeting at our house. Went great. It got our butt's in gear to do some extra stuff around the house. A big plus. Had a great meeting and we will go on the waiting list as soon as our references are in. There was a mix up with the work references, so I still need mine, and we need to get in our personal references.
